The Marion Military Institute (MMI) men's basketball team recently scored a victory over Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, adding to a six-game winning streak. 

They are 10-4 in ACCC play and currently 3rd in conference standings, said an announcement from MMI.

Of note was Kamari Slaughter who scored 27 points, eight rebounds, and five steals. Jaquavious Wallace scored 19 points and five rebounds and Raylan Barrion contributed nine assists with 10 points. Darrin Thompson Jr. scored 15 points.

Katayvon Jefferies, Jacob Cooper, and Malik Owens were also highlighted.

The team will compete against Reid State Technical College on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m.
