The Montgomery Fire Department debuted its Open Data Portal on Tuesday for citizens to track responses, activities and other occurrences with firefighters.Â
In a post on social media by the department it was reported that firefighters responded to more than 32,000 emergencies and prevented over $55 million in damage so far this year.Â
"Now, you can see exactly how we’re serving the community with our Open Data Portal," said the post. "From response times to neighborhood activity maps, this tool gives residents a transparent look at the lifesaving work happening every day across Montgomery."
See here for the portal.Â
