MFR Frazer Type 1 ambulances

Montgomery Fire & Rescue (MFR) will commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with a ceremony on Sept. 11. 

The public is invited to the ceremony at 8:45 a.m. The schedule is as follows: 

  • Posting of the colors 
  • Opening remarks 
  • Invocation 
  • Guest speakers 
  • Tolling of the bell
  • Honor recognition for MFR's fallen firefighters 
  • Closing statements 

"All are welcome to join us in honoring the heroes of 9/11 and reflecting on the values of sacrifice, courage and service," said an advertisement for the event. 

The ceremony will be held at MFR's headquarters on 19 Madison Avenue.
