Police Lights

A woman was arrested in Montgomery for allegedly stabbing a man during a domestic incident. 

According to WSFA, the incident took place at Gazebo East Apartments in Montgomery before midnight on Sunday. 

Police responding to the scene reportedly found a man who was stabbed in his upper left chest and was transported to be treated for life-threatening injuries. 

Licher Taya Battle, 33, was arrested in connection to the stabbing, which allegedly happened as an argument escalated into violence. She has been charged with domestic abuse and first degree assault.
