Montgomery Police Department Chief James Graboys held a press conference on Monday to address four incidents that left five people dead over the weekend.

Three of them were domestic, he said, and all four were interpersonal.

"I want to reassure the citizens of Montgomery that we have strong leads in these cases," he stated. "Suspects will be charged, held accountable and they will face justice in a court of law."

According to an overview delivered by Graboys the first incident began on Friday morning at the 1700 block of West Haven Lane. There, responding officers found Fedel Saunders, 30, dead of a gunshot wound.

The homicide may have stemmed from relationships he had with other people, Graboys said.

The second was at the 3100 block of Virginia Loop Road on the following day. Timeko Coleman, 50, was found dead of injuries from blunt force trauma. Graboys said that he anticipated possible answers in the case "very soon."

On the same day police began investigating a death at the 5100 block of Carmichael Road where Anthony Davis, 37, and Prentice Parks, 44, were both found dead of gunshot wounds.

An unnamed third subject was found with injuries, though they were not life-threatening, Graboys stated.

"This case, though, is self-contained," he said. "There are no other individuals involved in this case. There are no outstanding suspects."

And on early Sunday morning the final incident took place at the 3200 block of Raintree Drive. 19-year-old Ahmari Capleton was found dead of stab wounds. Police found a female victim with cuts. This case is also "self-contained," Graboys said.

He added that there will be updates "in the near future".
