A crowd gathered at Southlawn Baptist Church on Thursday to memorialize Diamond Moore, a 13-year-old who was killed in a shooting on June 20.

According to WSFA, the crowd released more than 100 balloons to honor the life of Moore. Family members present at the release called for justice to be brought.

At a recent press release Montgomery Police Chief James Graboys spoke about Moore and pledged the find those responsible for her death.

"Of every possible crime this is the most egregious and it weighs on me," he had said. "It weighs on all of us at the city and at the police department."

Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Montgomery Police Department at 334-241-2651.

Crimestoppers can be contacted at the 215-STOP (7867) 24-hour tip line, 1-833-AL1-STOP, download the P3-tips app, or the text-to-tip feature by texting keyword 215stop to 738477.
