Funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the Montgomery Thriving Small Business Grant Program is set to be opened for businesses in need of financial assistance. 

The City of Montgomery announced that several dates are set for virtual and in-person information dates to educate small business owners about the program. Locations for the meetings are to be announced. 

These are: 

• May 9 (Virtual)

• May 17 (In Person)

• May 26 (In Person)

• June 1 (Virtual)

• June 3 (Virtual)

Business owners may be eligible by meeting the following:  

• 1–50 employees

• Less than $5 million in annual revenue

• For-profit and in good standing

• Located in Montgomery (City or County)

• Demonstrates business need

• Current on taxes (or payment plan)

• Will remain in Montgomery for at least one year
