A woman from Montgomery was arrested and charged for arson after a house fire occurred on Tuesday.
According to WSFA, the incident took place at the 600 block of West Edgemont Avenue around 5 a.m. The fire was contained by first responders of Montgomery Fire and Rescue. No injuries were reported.Â
Following an investigation, Vanisha Nathan, 27, was identified as the suspect who allegedly started the fire and was arrested.
She faces a charge of arson in the first degree.Â
