Power Outage ALERT

Several thousand customers are without power in Western Montana on Wednesday morning to due extreme wind gusts and weather conditions taking over the region.

The areas most affected by outages are Thompson Falls, Superior and Livingston. For a full picture of all outages and most recent updates, visit the NorthWestern Energy outage map.

Further outages have been reported by Northern Lights Electric Cooperative, who said in a social media post that over 11,000 customers affected.

"Due to the severity and widespread nature of the damage, and because impacts are still occurring while winds continue for the next several hours, members should prepare for the possibility of extended outages in some locations," Northern Lights Electric Cooperative said in an update at 7:30 a.m.
