Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is joining with 14 other states and the District of Columbia to sue the Trump administration over efforts to limit medical providers' treatment of youth with gender dysphoria. Illinois state Rep. Bill Hauter, who is also a medical doctor, said the science is not settled and there are real concerns about lasting and irreversible impacts even with hormone treatments.
