Downtown Selma

A No Kings rally is planned for the Selma side of Edmund Pettus Bridge on Saturday at 12 p.m.

The rally is organized by the SaveOurselves (SOS) Movement for Justice and Democracy and will be part of 3,100 No Kings protests throughout the nation.

There will be several speakers to address housing and healthcare costs, as well as voting rights and cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

There will also be music and on-site assistance for anyone who needs wheelchair or accessibility support.
