A pair from Selma have been indicted on murder charges after a robbery attempt in Huntsville last year.Â
According to WHNT, Chauncey Devon Smith, 27, and Alazia Harris, 21, are charged in the murder of Naji Wiggins, 21, during a robbery attempt in July 2024.Â
Smith was reportedly injured in the incident and was arrested after being treated in a hospital.Â
Smith has a trial date set for Nov. 17 but a trial date for Harris was not listed. An order from a judge has given prosecutors 14 days to state whether or not the death penalty will be sought.Â
