Pike Road teachers honored

Five Pike Road teachers were recognized by the Pike Road City Council with proclamations during a recent meeting. 

Those honored were: 

Dawn Ellis from Pike Road Elementary School, Toni Jones from Pike Road Intermediate School, DaraLyn McColl from Pike Road Jr. High School, and Zachary Warren from Pike Road High School.

In an announcement the city government expressed appreciation to the Pike Road School Board: Ethan Taylor, Board President, Jan Jonhson, Board Vice President, and Board Members Jennifer Gibbs, Jeff Dickey, and Dr. Mona Hurston.

"Thank you all for your leadership, service, and commitment to our learners, staff, and community," said the announcement. "Your dedication makes all of Pike Road better and our futures brighter. We are grateful for all you do!"
