The upcoming 11th Perry County PREP Center commencement ceremony will celebrate 400 graduates since beginning in 2022.Â
"The PREP Center program boasts a zero percent recidivism rate due to a strategy that equips participants with vital skills to overcome challenges, secure stable employment and successfully reintegrate into society after prison," said a press release from the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles.Â
"The facility houses a variety of reentry programs that include mental health and substance use counseling provided by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and education and employment readiness services provided by the Alabama Community College System and J.F. Ingram State Technical College."
The ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the PREP Center on 4805 U.S. HWY 80 in Uniontown.Â
