The Thomasville Alabama Chamber of Commerce recently announced on social media that $19,786 was raised on Friday, April 25 at Gates Drive Ball Park.Â
"It was a beautiful night full of fellowship and remembrance," said the social media post. "Our survivors received their medals and signed our 'Hands of Hope' wall."
The top individual fundraiser was Joane Howard while the top 3 team fundraisers were Crowne Healthcare in third place, New Hope #1 Baptist in second, and First US Bank in first.
"We want to thank every individual, team, business, survivor, and caretaker who made this event so special," said the post. "We hope to continue to grow this event each year."
