A ribbon cutting and grand opening will be held for the new Downtown Montgomery Ambassadors on Monday, May 5.Â
"This event is more than just a ribbon cutting— it’s the launch of a transformative initiative to enhance the experience of living, working and visiting Downtown," said a post on social media by Main Street Montgomery.
"Developed from the 2022 Downtown Plan, the Downtown Montgomery Ambassador program is operated by Block by Block, a nationally respected firm serving over 170 districts across the country."
Some of the services offered by the program are environmental cleaning, hospitality, business engagement and safety support.Â
