Road work to repair a bridge girder on Wares Ferry Road on Interstate 85 in Montgomery has closed a lane and delays are expected.Â
According to the Alabama Department of Transportation or ALDOT repairs are taking place at milepost 13 on southbound I-85 with crews working daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ALDOT advises drivers to be cautious in work zones and plan ahead.Â
The repairs are expected to be completed on Wednesday.Â

northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
