Robert Stewart to host meeting on gas pipeline that could affect Dallas County

On Sept. 30 Sen. Robert Stewart will host a meeting regarding a proposed gas pipeline that will run through Dallas County.

According to a flyer for the meeting a project titled SSE4 is proposing putting methane gas pipelines in nine other counties. The meeting will feature maps showing exactly where the pipeline would go. 

The project could have potentially harmful effects, says a description on the flyer, stating that it will be paid for by customers, "threatens" private property, and puts the water of residents at risk. 

The meeting will be held at ArtsRevive on 3 Church Street in Selma from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
