The Rockin' Riboff and Rick Carter Songwriter Festival presented by Blackbelt Benefit Group is set for Saturday, June 7 at Water Avenue in Selma.Â
In addition to a rib contest the event will feature live music, axe throwing, kids zone, a water slide, bouncy houses and more.Â
The live music stage will feature Mac Spencer and John Carter; Mutt Cooper and Larry Mitchell; Lolly Lee and Erin Minter; and Ian Cuthbertson and Rick Carter.Â
Winners of the rib contest will be announced at 7:30 p.m.Â
The event will benefit the Dallas County System of Services' Rise and Recover Program.Â
Gates open at 1 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person and free for kids five and under.Â
