A second defendant has been sentenced for his role in a series of robberies in Montgomery that took place in July 2025. 

A statement from U.S. Attorney Thomas Govan identified Rayshon Frances Demonta Hall, 24, as the defendant who was convicted in May 2026 following a three-day trial. 

He was found guilty on three counts of robbery and three counts of brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a federal crime of violence.

According to the statement Hall was involved in several robberies in Montgomery between Aug. 1 and Aug. 4. 

The first defendant, Najari Denarka Mitchell was sentenced to 25 years in August. Like his co-defendant, Hall was sentenced to 25 years in a federal prison. 

The case was investigated by the FBI and the Montgomery Police Department, with assistance from the United States Marshals Service.
