Two appointments have been made to the Selma Area Food Bank's (SAFB) 2026 Board of Directors, said a recent announcement.Â
Dan Lane of Craig Field Airport and Industrial Authority was appointed chairman while Kent Woodruff of Cornerstone Realty was appointed vice chairman.
Lane takes the place of Steven South, who previously held the position since 2016, said the announcement under former Executive Director Jeff Harrison. South will continue to be part of the board during the upcoming 2026 year. Â
"On behalf of our entire organization, I am thankful for Steven's time as our SAFB board Chairman," said Executive Director Ryan Johnson. "Dan and Kent's experience, commitment and passion for our mission will be invaluable as we build our 2025 momentum and expand our impact in the year ahead."
"I am confident that, together, we will continue to strengthen our programs and better serve our neighbors facing food insecurity."Â
