The 2026 Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee is set for March 5-8 in the downtown area at and around Edmund Pettus Bridge.

The Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee is an annual tradition that honors those who were attacked during Bloody Sunday in 1965.

Demonstrators marching for voting rights were attacked by a number of state troopers and deputies in an incident that helped galvanize the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

The event has been attended by notable political figures in the past, including President Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

The jubilee features a number of events, which can be seen in the schedule here.
