Selma City Schools to host Operation Help Our Scholars in August

Selma City Schools will host "Operation Help Our Scholars" for students on Monday, Aug. 5 at the Selma High School gym. 

There will be free haircuts for boys registered at their school, vouchers for hair braiding for girls, free school supplies and uniforms for students. 

Parents will have the opportunity to learn about school attendance, Title 1, and to meet the district superintendent and school principals. 

The event will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Selma High School is located at 2180 Broad Street.
