On May 24 the Selma Housing Authority (SHA) will open its Housing Choice Voucher Program (section 8) application pool at 8:30 a.m.Â
The pool will close on May 26 at 3:30 p.m. SHA requires that completed applications be returned to the central office at 444 Washington Street between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. without exception.Â
Applications are required to be delivered by hand and time-stamped by staff at the central office before the deadline. Applications delivered by any means other than hand-delivered will not be processed, SHA says.Â
Only one application per person is allowed and can be obtained at the central office. Those with disabilities may call 334-874-6271 for assistance on obtaining applications.Â
