Selma police said they are investigating a shooting that wounded a man Aug. 26.

Police responding to a shooting at 206 Shepherd Ave. at 6 a.m. Aug. 26 found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right arm, according to a police statement. He was transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center. The victim’s condition is not being released, police said.

The victim reported that he was hit by shots that were fired from an unknown vehicle traveling through the area.

No suspect or person of interest has been identified.
