The Black Belt area is under two levels of risk for severe storms on Wednesday evening to early Thursday. 

Part of the region is under a Level 1 risk while another is under a Level 2 risk, according to the Dallas County Emergency Management Agency. 

Threats include isolated or brief tornadoes, damaging winds, quarter-sized hail, and heavy rain.

The public is advised to stay up to date with weather reports and take precautions as needed.
