Lowndes Interpretive Center

The Smithsonian will bring its Crossroads: Change in Rural America exhibition to the Lowndes Interpretive Center on Nov. 1 - Dec. 12. 

The exhibit looks at the state of rural America beginning in 1900 when 40% of American were rural until they dropped to less than 18% in 2010. 

Crossroads explores the economic and demographic impacts of rural areas in America. More information can be seen on this page. 

Lowndes Interpretive Center is located at 7002 U.S.-80 in Hayneville.
