Strong storms are possible for the Black Belt region from 10 p.m. tonight to 2 p.m. tomorrow, says an online update by the Dallas County Emergency Management.

The Black Belt west from a portion of Montgomery is under a slight risk for storms while the remaining portion in the east is under a marginal risk.

Tornados are possible under a slight risk, as well as damaging winds up to 60 mph. Damaging winds at the same speed are possible along with a brief tornado under the marginal risk.

The public is advised to take precautions and check for updates. A Facebook group for the Dallas County Emergency Management can be found here.
