A suspect has been arrested in the murder case of Dallas County High School Coach Christopher Harrell, 56, who was killed in a robbery attempt on Feb. 4.Â
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford told al.com that Harrell was in the parking lot of Lannie's BBQ when he was was robbed and shot. The suspect has been identified as Jerry Johnson, 21.Â
Johnson was taken into custody in Montgomery on Tuesday. Police say that he was found and arrested in the home of a woman.
Johnson was captured by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. He is now being held at Dallas County Jail.Â
Johnson is scheduled to appear before Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins Pettaway today at 3 p.m.Â
