Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) will host a "Terri Talks" virtual discussion on the 59th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 today at 3 p.m. 

The discussion is titled "Our Vote is Our Voice". Dee Reed, Alabama’s State Organizing Manager for Black Voters Matter, will join. 

"The virtual discussion will focus on the power of the vote and the importance of grassroots organizing, voter mobilization, and youth engagement," said a press release from Sewell's office. 

The discussion will be streamed on Sewell's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube pages.
