Thomasville Police Department's K-9, Finn, will receive a donation of body armor from the non-profit organization, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

Finn's vest was sponsored by Susan Snyder from Munford. It will be inscribed with the words, "In memory of Thad A. Snyder”.

"This potentially lifesaving body armor for four-legged K9 officers is U.S. made, custom fitted, and National Institute of Justice (NIJ) certified," said a post on the department's social media page. "Since its inception, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. has provided over 6,225 vests valued at $6.9 million to K9s in all 50 states, made possible by both private and corporate donations."
