The Thomasville City Council was appointed Timothy Lance McDaniel to the Thomasville Board of Education during a meeting on Jan. 9.
McDaniel is the owner of TL Photography and a 2004 graduate of Thomasville High School. He also graduated from Pensacola State College and serves on the Thomasville Parks and Recreation Board.
According to the Thomasville Tiger Nation social media page he succeeds Tiffany Rodgers-Shamburger, who resigned.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve,” McDaniel said. “It is an honor to support our students, our educators, and the mission of Thomasville City Schools. I look forward to working together for the success of every child.”

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

appropriate shelter from the cold.
To prevent freezing and possible bursting of pipes they should be
wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
