Uniontown sets community cleanup days in April

Uniontown Cleanup Day

Community Foundation of Uniontown is hosting community cleanup days April 22 through 29.
The Earth Day to Arbor Day event is April 22 and 23 and the foundation is encouraging volunteers to get out into the community for a clean up week after that.
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Revolution of Joy muralist Helene and Tres Taylor in partnership with a Colorado-based organization named Can'd Aid will meet at the wall of the Track Club building located on the corner of Highway 80 and West Avenue to paint a mural. There will be a sign up sheet for those who want to participate.
Organizers are asking volunteers to build teams, choose an area in their district to clean, gather tools needed and share the news about the cleanup effort on social media.
