A woman from Uniontown died while two others were injured in an accident in Dallas County on early Sunday morning.Â
According to a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Kimeia A. Bennett, 43, was killed when a 2011 Hyundai Sonata that she was a passenger in left the roadway and struck a guardrail before it overturned.
"Bennett was not using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene," said the report. "The driver of the Hyundai, Keshaun M. Jones, 25, of Uniontown and a second passenger, Kanisha L. Bennett, 35, of Tuscaloosa, were both injured and transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center for treatment."
The crash took place on U.S. 80 near Dallas County 209, approximately eight miles west of Selma.Â
