Wares Ferry Road Bridge in Montgomery is back open one year ahead of schedule, said an announcement from the City of Montgomery on Thursday.Â
The bridge closed in December 2025 due to a large amount of traffic causing some structural issues.Â
"Whether you're headed to work, school, or just enjoying all that our city has to offer, Wares Ferry is safe and ready for you," said the city's announcement.Â
