Wallace Community College Selma (WCCS) will hold in-person commencement ceremonies on campus on Friday, May 14.

The ceremonies will begin outdoors at the front of the campus for all academics and nursing graduates at 10 a.m.

Following this a ceremony will be held for all dual enrollment and technical graduates at 1 p.m. Graduates from the fall 2019 through spring 2021 semesters will be recognized.

A press release from WCCS said that officials made the decision to hold ceremonies in-person if social distancing guidelines are followed.

“We are very proud of our graduates and know that they will represent WCCS well,” said WCC President Dr. James M. Mitchell. “We wish them the very best and thank them for choosing WCCS.”

The ceremonies will be live streamed and all guests and graduates are required to maintain social distance from each other.
