Patrick Trammel

Patrick Trammell is Interim Chief Executive Officer of Whitfield Regional Hospital.

Whitfield Regional Hospital has announced that Patrick Trammell will serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer after the retirement of former CEO Doug Brewer.

Trammel comes to Demopolis after serving as CEO of UAB's hospital in Greenville. Whitfield is also a UAB affiliate facility. 

Trammel's role will be interim CEO as UAB and the Tombigbee Healthcare Authority Board conduct a national search for a permanent replacement for Brewer.

Trammel has 23 years of healthcare leadership experience across a variety of healthcare delivery settings, the hospital said in a statement. Trammel has a record of improving patient care, supporting healthcare teams and strengthening the communities he serves, the statement said.

Outside of his professional role, Trammel is married to his wife, Stephanie, and has four children, ranging in age from 20 to 11.
