Funeral Services for William Frank Dixon, of Butler, will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Franklin McLelland officiating and Jonathan Jenkins delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Butler. Visitation will be held at Bumpers Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.

William Frank Dixon was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi on January 13, 1939 to Gladys Myatt and Frank Dixon. He passed away at his home on January 1, 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Dixon; his son Sam Dixon (Laurette); his grandchildren, the joy of his life, Amber Whitted (Dexter), Jonathan Jenkins (Alden), Brandi Jacobs (Tanner), Emilee Jenkins (Trevor); great-grandchildren Lillian Jacobs, Delilah Whitted, William Hayes Jenkins, Ezra Whitted, Campbell Jenkins and special niece Suzanne Arrington (Ed); great nieces Alyssa Arrington (Jake) and Macie Arrington. He is also survived by nephews Jimmy Luke (Wanda) and Johnny Luke (Tammy) and niece Cindy Burnett (Brown).

Poppa Bill, as he was known by his Grands, was a papermaker for 43 years. He has spent his retirement spoiling his Grands. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. Fitness was his passion. He loved to exercise with his 360 Fitness gym family. He was loved by everyone around him. Poppa will be dearly missed.
