Tomorrow a press conference will be held to update the public on the remaining days of the Selma to Montgomery March reenactment and on a rally that is planned for Friday at the state capitol steps.Â
Day four of the march will be marked tomorrow as the press conference takes place at 9 a.m. at Burkville United Methodist Church.
Leaders from the Selma to Montgomery March Foundation, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and others will speak about the next few days of the march and original foot soldiers from the 1960s will share their stories.Â
They will also discuss plans about the 60th Anniversary Rally at the Alabama State Capitol on Friday, March 14.
Burkville United Methodist Church is located by mile marker 121.6 on Highway 80.
