The project to light the Edmund Pettus Bridge has taken another step forward.  

The lighting of the Edmund Pettus Bridge will happen. Just don’t try to hold Mike Lewis to a date.   

Plans to light the Edmund Pettus Bridge continue with a push now to raise $700,000 to pay for installation of the LED lights.

The Selma City Council Tuesday approved a contract that will lead to illuminating the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

The Selma Redevelopment Authority heard more details on their role in Edmund Pettus Bridge Lighting Project during their Nov. 19 meeting.
