The top two in the Associated Press Top 25 men's poll remain unchanged with Duke heading into the NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 team and Houston at No. 2. The Blue Devils (31-3) retained the top spot even after star freshman Cooper Flagg was injured, with the team still able to go on and win the ACC tournament. Flagg is expected to play in the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars (30-4) stayed at No. 2 after winning the Big 12 tournament. Florida (30-4) moved up a spot to No. 3 after winning the SEC tournament, while the NCAA Tournament's top-overall seed, Auburn (28-5), dropped one spot to No. 4 after losing in the SEC semifinals. The top four teams in the AP poll were also No. 1 seeds in their respective NCAA Tournament regions, with Duke on top in the East, Houston in the Midwest, Florida in the West and Auburn in the South. St. John's (30-4) moved up a spot to No. 5. The rest of the top 10 was comprised by No. 6 Tennessee (27-7), followed by Alabama (25-8), Michigan State (27-6), Texas Tech (25-8) and Louisville (27-7). The No. 2 seeds in the NCAA Tournament belonged to St. John's (West), Tennessee (Midwest), Alabama (East) and Michigan State (South). Texas Tech was a No. 3 seed in the West and Louisville was a No. 8 seed in the South. The remainder of the Top 25 poll: 11. Maryland (25-8) 12. Clemson (27-6) 13. Wisconsin (26-9) 14.
