No. 14 Missouri Wrestling dropped its conference opener against No. 15 Northern Iowa 22-14 on Sunday in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Tigers won four out of 10 contested matches.

Following three consecutive dual wins from UNI to start the day, redshirt senior Josh Edmond earned a victory by decision at 149 pounds to give Mizzou its first win.

Redshirt junior J Conway (157) earned another win for the Tigers with a 6-3 decision victory to put the contest within reach at the halfway point.

Redshirt freshman Aeoden Sinclair (184) and redshirt senior Evan Bates (197) earned the other two wins for Mizzou (6-6, 0-1 Big 12).

The Tigers are back in action at the Soldier Salute on Jan. 3-4 in Coralville, Iowa.
