Selma High had another explosive football game Friday night with a 44-18 finish against Holt High School.
Quarterback Kole Moody, who is only a freshman, had another great week with 348 passing yards. He is now at almost 1,000 yards at only three games into the season.
Selma got six touchdowns and one interception.
Selma hasn’t played Holt High since 1995, which Holt Coach Jordan Smith said made the game more interesting. He also praised Selma’s coach Charles Moody, saying he’s followed his performance at previous teams, specifically Southside High, and he’s done great things everywhere he’s been.
Coach Charles Moody said the Saints (3-0) still have work to do and will be preparing for Sipsey Valley in Tuscaloosa this Friday.
