Southside High ends season undefeated after 76-38 victory over Bullock County
The Southside High School Panthers capped off a historic regular season Friday night with a resounding 76–38 victory over Bullock County High School, securing an undefeated regular season and making school history.
From the opening kickoff, the Panthers dominated on both sides of the ball. The Panthers hit cruise control and never looked back.
“It's always amazing to make history and create a legacy,” said head coach Charles Moody. “I'm just so proud of these kids and the strides they have made. We understand that we still have unfinished business and that's the motivating factor. We want to be the best we can daily and put a great product out there.”
With the win, Southside finishes the regular season 10–0. The victory also secures them the top seed in their region heading into the state playoffs, which begin next week. The Panthers will now turn their attention to the postseason, where they hope to carry their momentum and chase a state championship to cap off their historic run.
