Southside High senior Derick Smith will be honored tonight at 8 p.m. ET and 7 p.m. CT as a 2025 Navy All-American in an episode of the Navy All-American Bowl’s Road to the Dome digital series.
According to NBC Sports, Smith will be honored during a virtual jersey presentation during the episode, which will be released on Navy All-American Bowl’s social platforms.
He was selected by the All-American Bowl Selection Committee, comprising of the All-American Bowl, 247Sports, and NXGN.
He is set to compete in the annual East vs. West matchup in San Antonio, TX at 1 p.m. ET and 12 p.m. CT on Saturday, January 11 in 2025, to be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock
