Selma residents are waking up to find their yards looking, well, the same as it looked yesterday.
The Winter Storm Warning that predicted 1-3 inches of snow overnight even as far south as Dallas County got downgraded by the National Weather Service to a Winter Weather Advisory around 3 a.m. for central Alabama.
Selma schools remain closed for Tuesday and no word yet on delays on Wednesday.
WBRC Fox 6 meteorologist Matt Daniel said temperatures were slower to cool down, so snowfall totals lowered. With an advisory, areas could see up to 1 inch, although no accumulation has been reported in Selma or elsewhere in Dallas County. Read more from WBRC weather reports here.
