Pike Road has kicked off IGNITE, a new initiative that is said will support local businesses.

A recent announcement stated that the program is designed to "strengthen operations" and expand the reach of businesses in the town.

A Pike Road Business Association Lunch & Learn event was held last week to spotlight Employ-A-Patriot in partnership with Pike Road Schools, and Best Management Practices for Businesses.

"We're a young town," said Economic Development Director Bryan Parker. "We just started, so we have an opportunity to be who we want to be."
