A man from Sardis was killed in a traffic accident on Alabama 22 in the morning hours of Sunday, said a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.Â
At around 7:01 a.m. Samuel L. Jackson, 64, was driving a 2023 Toyota 4Runner that left the road and struck a guardrail and a bridge before catching fire.Â
His body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences (ADFS) for identification.
The accident took place on Alabama 22 near the 17 mile marker, approximately one mile west of Selma.
