Selma-Dallas County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the new Vaughan Kidney Care office on Highland Avenue on Tuesday.
The center, located at 1360 E. Highland Ave., is operated by Innovative Renal Care and Vaughan Regional Medical Center, a community-based hospital affiliated with ScionHealth. It provides in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis for those experiencing end stage renal disease, also known as kidney failure.
Long-time community nephrologist Dr. Kent Taylor from Vaughan Nephrology, serves as the center’s medical director. Read previous coverage of the new center here.
