The Central Alabama Fair finished its annual run on Saturday after a six-day run at Lions Club Fair Park in Selma.
Organizer Russell Haskell said the final numbers aren't in yet, but they expect the count to surpass the previous year.
Unlike a cold snap in 2023, this year's fair had warm weather all week.
"It was a great week," Haskell said. "It was a great, great fair."
Haskell added that the "overall support from the community was outstanding as usual and we're looking forward to next year."
This year's fair added 4H activities, including a rabbit show that brought a strong crowd, he said. 4H plans to bring it back again next year, he added.
Fair organizers have a tentative date in mind for next year that will be announced in coming months.
Up from last year, which is a good thing to be able to continue to grow.Â
